It’s finally time for a new tag, and it’s obviously to do with fall. You can find the original one over at Amanda & Antonia @ Classy x Book Reviews, so please do go and check them out, they’re two lovely people! Without further ado shall we jump into this?
1. Hot Chocolate: What is your comfort book?
Sorry but I’m obviously not going to pick one, when I know I have two that I always reach for on a bad day.
2. Pumpkin Carving: What is your favorite creative outlet?
Honestly it’s bullet journaling, I don’t show any of it because I’m not like that creative (despite getting a B in my final art exam.) But for inspirations I watch so many booktube videos and read so many book blogs.
3. Falling Leaves: Changes that appear bad but you secretly love?
That would be the season changes. I love it when it goes from a cold spring to a hot summer, to a warm/cold fall then freezing winters. I always go straight to my bookshelves and start pulling books out that I feel like is appropriate to read during that season and leave them all in a pile on top of my drawers.
4. Pumpkin Spiced Latte: Something you love that others tend to judge?
I seem to love most book-to-movie adaptations, like for example Percy Jackson, Twilight, etc etc. I’ve loved any that I’ve watched, despite so many people who seem to be hating on them so much.
5. Bonfire Night: What makes you explode with joy?
Honestly, that would be new book releases finally in my hands and my boyfriend coming home from the navy. I look forwards to the second one the most.
6. Fright Night: Favorite scary film or book?
I don’t have a favorite scary film because I don’t like any of them as they’ve really scared me shitless. So let’s go with another book which is Frozen Charlotte and the sequel Charlotte Says.
7. Halloween Candy: Favorite thing to eat?
Ugh, I have so many but for this season it’s all about pasta, spaghetti bolognese, Toad in the Hole. But snack wise, give me all the chocolates and rice krispy marshmallow squares.
8. Scarves: Your must-have accessory?
That would be this beautiful (but very expensive) bracelet that my boyfriend bought me as a surprise Christmas present (all I asked for was books), but I also don’t leave my house without my bag (with my essentials in it, body mist spray, purse, implant accessories, my book & book sleeve.)
9. Fire: A book or film that burns your soul?
Okay it’s not a film, it’s an anime series (and manga too!) I’m currently reading the manga so I know what to expect in this new season of Food Wars, but I can’t seem to stop thinking about it at all.
10. Toffee Apples: A book or film that seems one thing but really has a different inside?
This seems like a cutesty little princess book, but it’s really not. It’s actually a mystery plus a hint of thriller in it. I bought this thinking ‘oh it’s a cute book, it’ll be a cute romance story’, and it punched me and turned out to be completely opposite. But I love it so much regardless.
Until the next post
